Located in the Hamlet of Maroggia and by the shore of Lake Lugano, Tondo Music is the idea of long time collector and vinyl fanatic Alessandro Bassanini, is the former owner of Joboba Cosmic Vinyl in Pennsylvania, now living in Switzerland after 30+ years in the trenches of Corporate America.
The idea was to re-create what used to be common place in America, an old school record shop where everything is perfectly kept, prices are clear, release information and condition is fully disclosed and in a place far enough to deter the selfie crowd yet easily reachable by train, by car or by water taxi.
At Tondo Music the beer is always cold, the espresso hot, and you are going to be welcomed by a warm smile and 50 years of vinyl passion.
