We Jazz Record Shop, located in Helsinki, is a vinyl first store specialising in jazz and other non-mainstream musics. The shop carries both new and second hand releases and is a firm believer in the idea of a record shop as a friendly space for music lovers to meet and discover music. Occasionally, the shop hosts events such as sale periods and DJ sets, and its aim is to represent quality independent labels from various parts of the world and with various musical orientations, while also catering a broad and reasonably priced selection of second hand vinyl (with new additions inserted in store every Friday). The shop was founded in late 2019 and it's run by We Jazz Records, also a label that organises festivals, events and DJ sets and publishes the quarterly We Jazz Magazine. As much as possible of the store stock is also available via Discogs for both long distance shoppers and those wishing to order records online ready to be picked on site.
