Description
Zzz Records opened in the fall of 2000 as a tiny shop in downtown Des Moines. We started as an outlet for vinyl collectors, who had very few local options at the time. Over the years, Zzz has grown considerably and added CDs, tapes, posters, collectors' supplies, and even some 8-tracks and laser discs.
Now located on Ingersoll avenue -- just a bit west of downtown -- we have thousands of new & used items. Most of our used albums are still priced between $2-$6, with collectable items going a little higher. We participate in Record Store Day each year, and also host sidewalk sales and an anniversary party each fall.
