Purple (Sasha V The Light) is likely the greatest progressive breaks track other than Hybrid's Finished Symphony. While the original and the 1997 solo Sasha remix made it onto a few dj mixes, its was the '98 version with The Light co-mixing that made it onto Paul Oakenfold - Tranceport and made this track truly legendary. Stunningly beautiful and powerful.

The Sasha remix of Gus Gus' Purple is truly a monster of a track. On first listen, it sounds like just an edit of the original, but it climaxes with a beautiful, strong synth that was not in the original. I'd rate the remix as better than the original.
