Reviews
- my friend has a copy of this one and the label is off-center by like 4 cm. So goodbye to track A4 and A5
- Record is excellent, but you're here for information about the pressing and mastering. There's a lot of soul, no surface noise and the record is shipped in an anti-scratch anti-static inner sleeve. However, there is some distortion and/or sibilance on the lead singer's "S":es that aren't there on Spotify for example, probably as a result of bringing parts of the mix up. I don't think it's related to my setup. I haven't compared this to other pressings but I do recommend it for what it is. It's a lot more vibrant than the current Spotify version.
- Edited 2 years agoThis sounds amazing! Selling my MoFi copy as this actually sounds better, believe it or not. Nothing to fault on this reissue. Sounds way better in stereo as well.
- Great sounding press. Perfect sound quality (given the recording circumstances and the time period). No surface noise what so ever
- Almost no surface noise/soundfloor. great pressing. will check for distortion as mentioned. tight spindle hole, and centred well.
- I just got this one at HMV for £12.50. Sounds amazing. Better than I expected. No distortion on mine. Very quiet soundfloor to the vinyl too. Absolute bargain.
