Notes

Privately produced acid folk LP, reputedly limited to a pressing of only 50 copies.

Album sides are designated by the letters "p" and "q" (presumably for Perky Quinby) No track listings on label.

The album title, "The Street and the Sea" was taken from the title of a poem written by Ms. Quinby's father, James. The text of that poem is reprinted inside the gatefold cover along with the text of three other James A. Quinby poems that were set to music on the LP: "Still Life," "With All Hands," and "Requiem."

In addition to the poems, the interior of the gatefold also includes a dedication which reads. "To James and Katherine Quinby, without whom Quinbys would not be overcrowding the western and eastern seaboards."
