Reviews
- I might buy any recording that pairs Billy Cobham with Ron Carter. But with McCoy Tyner this is a rhythm section with deep deep pockets! The focus is on McCoy's interplay with the flutes and orchestration here. However, Cobham's flourishes are plentiful and Carter lays down lots of texture on the bottom end.
