Flavio Vecchi presents Black House Native – VOL. 1 EP

BLACK HOUSE NATIVE is a new project from Flavio Vecchi,
the pioneer underground DJ and protagonist of the generation
who led the development and evolution of House Music.

After meeting the 320KB Music crew of Bologna,
Flavio was inspired to awaken dozens of ideas
that had lain dormant in his old AKAI MPC60 for years.
The group’s attitude toward rediscovering and refining
the true essence of “ Deep Groove Philosophy” has resulted
in the creation of an exciting trans-generational collaboration,
producing visions of the present and of the future,
inspired by that old school flavour.

In the name BLACK HOUSE NATIVE:
BLACK represents the Funk / Soul background in which Flavio grew up,
and during which time he began to buy his first vinyl records.
NATIVE references the hypnotic rhythms and the use
of samples of native african chants, cut, reworked and energized
by the sharp rhythms of Flavio MPC60.
