Surprised to find the LP versions of World Clique do not include the Deee-Lite Theme song! I was heartbroken.... But then that faded and I was happy to be listening to the rest of the album. I wonder who made the decision to axe intro song from the LP version, and why? I can only guess it would be a consideration of total length of each side, since side 1 has longer songs on it, but it was definitely possible to include it. At any rate, the album for me absolutely starts with the Deee-Lite Theme Song, and not Good Beat. It's like trying to listen to TMBG's Flood album with 'Theme From Flood' removed (another classic from 1990).

Anyone have any guidance on the best pressing to go for US or European one?

At the turn of the decade, in the year 1990, "World Clique" was one damn great cocktail - drink it once, the taste remains. Sadly, Deee-lite continue to slightly suffer ever since, due to a one-hit wonder episode being "Groove Is In the Heart" - and while you just can't get enough of the bastard, remember there are 9 (or 11, if you prefer the CD) delicacies more. A truly slick mixture of hip-hop, soul (Lady Miss Kier's vocal stylings are downright superb!), house and techno, marking a rock solid record that will continue to last. Try it on, it's very you.
