Edited 5 months agoWell, this isn't a repress as it has never been pressed as a single back in the days.
Now, about this release:
Although it's great to have something in print from Chiemi, the release is a bit underwhelming.
Why not repressing the album since it commands such high prices?
'Untotooku' is a very good track but why drop the ball on the b-side by putting a lame-ass instrumental? Another track from the album would have been great.
Also, i only have digital files to compare but i didn't find the sound/mastering to be great.
While i'm complaining: could they have found an uglier pic for the cover?! The album art is quirky in a good way and there was a lot to choose from on the poster too...
All in all, not the best release.
PS: at least the track they picked up wasn't one of the 4 singles of the era. There are still affordable so, if you get all of them, you end up with 5 tracks from the album + 2 other non-LP tracks.
Edited 6 years agoabsolute gem and a blessing of a repress. big ups the rush hour crew 4 having this 1 in during ADE and giving me a much needed sugar rush 3 days deep into the sesh!!
