My copy sounds absolutely fantastic on high-end equipment that I invested in. So glad I bought a copy at the regular price when it was released because it has appreciated tenfold!- Edited 8 months agoAfter reading the litany of negative feedback on this pressing, I did an A/B comparison of the vinyl against the original CD. I was surprised by how much better the CD sounds - the presence, separation and range are noticeably improved over the vinyl, which sounds compressed and muddy. The CD captures the energy and shimmer of these great songs in a way the vinyl lacks. I'm now tempted to cash in on the ridiculous prices for this RSD release because I don't expect I'll want to listen to it again knowing how it falls short. It's unfortunate the label apparently put so little effort into this one...
FFS reissue this already. Ten words ten words ten words- My God, please repress this! There is obvious demand for this excellent record.
I have an Amazing copy, sounds perfect for a morning spin with coffee. My absolute fav.
Repress please, Repress please, Repress please, Repress please, Repress please- Edited one year agoThis pressing sounds amazing im using a Fluance RT-81 with nagaoka mp-200 cart. on a IFI ZEN Phono into a yamaha AS301 feeding-2 Klipsch 610 towers and 2 JBL 530 studio book shelves and Triangle Bora 02 bookshelves and a aiyma-07 class D amp feeding 2-sony-Sony SS-CS5-bookshelves and a definitive 8" Sub so this is all budget gear for the most part yet i have a tremendous soundstage when i play this album. That being said you could put this album on a crosley with a decent entry level amp and speaker and it would still sound good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL ABOUT THE MASTERING AND VINYL QUALITY
This is truly the craziest listing I've ever seen. This pressing is horrifyingly bad and sellers are charging $350 for it now? Ugh.
Wishing someone, ANYONE would do a repress that wasn't absolute garbage. Maybe get the band involved this time (they weren't at all the last time.)

The price of this reissue is the silliest price of all things I’m tracking in my collection. If it were me, instead of paying $250 for this I would by an original for pretty much the same price. When they do eventually reissue this (and they will), the reissue will catastrophically crash, but the original will not.
