Reviews
- A: Vocal Electro. First of all the vocal is a more youthful sounding run through of America's "Horse with no name" and if you'll have to have some affection towards that to enjoy this. It's quite a reverent treatment in that it stays exceptionally close to the structure and sound of the original. It does give it a sweet electro feel and the slide guitar at the end confirms it's wish to stay true to the original vibe. For me it's a modern update of the track that allows it to be played out in a bar with ease. [TEN]
B: Electro. Fear not if you couldn't get your head around the A-side this is frimly in Gigolo territory (as much as anything can be anyway). This is a quirky, funky track brim full of idea's drawn from numerous influences. Fun, but lacking the real attack that's normally associated with electro so you may enjoy it's playfulness or describe it as weak. Enjoyable. [NINE]
