Ditto the comment below about the paper sleeves — everything about this release was done right, except for those.

This is by far the worst compilation of southeast asian music I have encountered.
Some of the tracks sound like poor imitations of UK psychedelic folk, some like US middle of the road 1970s radio, trying hard to sound like Neil Young. Other tracks sound like 1990s Irish boy band Westlife. Really really painful. thumbs down to Light in The Attic, a pretty cover doesn't make this collection of music any better.

Kind of sucks that this gets released and a week later Kenji Endo dies.

I have around 800 records in my collection and this must the most beautiful album I own. The heavy gatefold jacket, gorgeous cover art, beautiful pink and blue wax, and superb inserts - the presentation itself is a piece of art. And the music - absolutely fantastic... a superb pressing of truly great music.
Just replace the paper sleeves - they deserve a better home.

Suprised by how great the colored wax sounds. Absolutely amazing job by LitA. Essential for anyone even remotely interested in music from Japan.

Such an amazing comp. To have these songs on vinyl after years of poor quality bootlegs is glorious. The only thing I would have changed is to have a Kazuki Tomokawa song on here.

Release is all western style folk music, there is no eastern influence. Expect american folk music with Japanese vocals, nothing special here unfortunately.
