- My copy sounds fine with out any ‘sandpaper’ or scratching sounds. Those who heard this undoubtedly got a no-fill pressing defect (which happens far too often these days). Otherwise the records are monophonic, with both bass and treble attenuated. The mastering engineers loped off all the treble, probably because there was only noise there anyway.
- Does anyone else have awful distortion on this pressing? My copy is barely listenable
- Having only heard the shonky 90s CD edition, this edition is astonishing. All sides of my pressing are really quiet and Aguirre did an amazing job with the source material and the packaging.
any insights about pressing quality? what about the sleeve? is it quality re-issue? thanks for any updates!
