- Has anyone ordered this album recently from the Beastie Boys website? I ordered one that came slightly warped, but plays well. I contacted them and had missed the 60 day return period by a few days and they at first were not going to do anything However, I kept after them and they relented and sent another copy, which also came slightly warped. Not as bad as the first one, but still warped. Wondering if any else has gotten a warped copy of this record? Could it come from the pressing? I really love this album, so I a a liitle disappointed.
- Edited 2 years agoAnother pressing by Rainbo Records that can be sent straight to the trash bin. Terrible. 2 seconds in and already the clicks and pops are overwhelming... and it's not a matter of cleaning the record... it's non-fill, which Rainbo Records was notorious for; no amount of cleaning is fixing that. Again, straight to the trash bin, or maybe melt it down and make a paper weight out of it. Astonishing they were allowed to butcher as many releases as they did. Thankfully, they're not around anymore.
Also, the rating is for the music, not the pressing. -1 million rating for the pressing. - I bought a sealed copy & the gatefold packaging doesn't come with anything (poster/art etc.) in the other sleeve. First time I've come across a gatefold that has both sides open but nothing in one side.
