Reviews
- This is the second half of Eddie Kendricks career as a solo man at Motown. It has nothing on Vol. 1, but that's only because his better albums came early. Besides "Boogie Down", there are songs like, "Goin' Up In Smoke", "Skippin' Work Today", and my favorite on this volume, "Intimate Friends". I have to admit that most of these songs at times can go stale, by I still can overlook a lot of them. Besides Eddie's creative juices were slowing down. Hey, you give half of your life to the Tempataions and see how you would fair. I think he did great, much better than David Ruffin.
