Bad pressing on this release... overlapped grooves make track B2 "Beat The Box" sound like bad edits...(30x loupe was used to look over the grooves.

Obscure release out of Chicago from 1985. According to comments left on the now removed post on You Tube this track was made with the assistance of DJ Lil' Tal (of Dance Mania fame) and a local DJ by the name of Walter "Get Down" Brown. The rhythm track has similarities with the one used on Sleezy D's 'I've Lost Control' and the "Let's Go" chant idea seems to have been borrowed by Farley Keith on his "Aw Shucks, Let's Go' track. - This is a very early and simple track which sums up the new and experimental sounds of early 1985 along with tracks such as Jesse Sanders On & On and Funkin Keith Funkin with the Drums. I love this track and its simplicity.
The quality of the pressing is poor with mine having a minor pressing error at the begining of Jack The Box (still plays fine) and 2x labels for b side. Well worth picking up.
