Reviews
- Very nice indeed...pressed at Optimal which can always be a bit hit and miss imo. Im a big jazz fan and enjoy audiophile quality reissues. I dip a toe in to IM now and again. This is a great record, superb dynamics, no sibilance...maybe a little flat which comes from it being from a digital source. No noise at all. Lovely gatefold, great quality packaging.. very very good..and that art work is awesome!
- This is an amazing pressing. Bass is excellent, no pops no cracks. It sounds better than previous pressings i own.
- Awesome pressing. The sound is clean and quiet, it's really really good. One of the best Maiden remasters I own. And the
- I really liked the publication. The mass of vinyl is high quality, very quiet. The sound is rich, worked out over the entire range, with a very clear innings. The polygraphy of the sleeve is not perfect, but overall quite neat. Quality release!
- Just so people stop asking. The Maiden albums post "Seventh Son" were all mastered digitally originally. There exists no analog master from which to create an analog remaster. There can only be digital remasters or reissues of these albums.
- Perfect vinyl edition. spotless and clean, good dynamics and great bass. imho the sound imprint is a bit similar to "the book of souls" vinyl version, i know this title is a 1992 and the other is their last album, but since this came out more recently i make sense of it.
i like the packaging too with the lovely black polylined sleeves. go for it and don't worry about the masters, seeing many other reviews seems there were not #ANALOG# original recording and it was digital from the beginning.
Good album too "afraid to shoot strangers/childhood's end/fear of the dark" are superb songs.
i like "wasted love too". - Sounds really good, nice and clean, no pops and cracks but I have to agree with Skatan81. I was disappointed to see that this is a digital reissue from hi resolution digital masters. I was hoping for a true analog remaster as well.
