Bassa Clan – Bassa Clan 05

My favorite track on this is t Lifetime. It's a gleeful skippy minimal deep house tune. It has this jumpy off beat synth stab and thumpy bass that drive the groove. It's playful instrumentally which contrasts nicely with the women empowering spoken word poetery..

On side B, I really like the track Somewhere. It's an ambient electro track with gorgeous dreamy pads washed by a bit of white noise played over simple grooves accompanied by a biting bass.

It's almost as if someone has distilled everything you like about deep house onto one 12" and then added some 'special toppings' to ensure the job is complete. Highly recommended.

Some fantastic deep house goodness spread across this plastic, A2 takes it for me though, with solid drums and an infectious groove.
