Is anyone able to compare this (sound wise) to the 2014 mono pressing? Thanks :)

Super high quality pressing!
The sound is very rich, powerful and loud. Vocals increadibly clear and instruments detalization is amazing.
Now I can't decide if this or my UK 67' mono sounding better haha

Going to wade in and agree with those that love it - fantastic pressing. I have a first UK mono press (okay, Mr Kite has a scratch that you can’t overlook, but it’s otherwise very clean) and this remix is still my go to listen of this record. I’ve been listening to this record for almost 25 years, and hearing things in this that I’ve just not heard on any other version. Also my pressing, bought in a bog standard high street shop, is perfect - flat and devoid of pops and clicks. Totally agree with people who says that this sounds like it was recorded yesterday. Cant recommend highly enough.

A truly stunning mix of this album combined with half speed mastering makes this sound like it was recorded yesterday. It’s much more dynamic than other pressings I’ve heard . A hefty bass and drum kick come to the fore but never wallow or muddy the sound . The instruments sound extremely well placed with a broad sound stage .

Unlike my previous late 80s copy the treble doesn’t sound harsh or fatiguing but still retains vivid clarity . My only criticism is that on my double press side A has a picture disc like swirl noise between tracks .
The companion disc is also very interesting and also sounds good .

Fantastic sounding remix of this classic. By far the best sounding version of this album. I’ve ever heard. Giles Martin drop the mic and walk off mate.

This does sound really good. Especially compared to a capitol pressing. I have an original uk mono which is good for that original sound only Brits could hear in the 60s but this is like the Beatles had released this album today, its extremely loud and clear. Good Morning Good Morning, is sweet as hell listening to full blast.

I can't understand any criticism of this new mix. It's an amazing improvement. I question whether those that don't like this version have turntables that are properly set up. Maybe they need a decent cartridge correctly aligned or perhaps a hearing exam. A tutorial on the correct usage of Q-Tips might also help.

I'd rather hear this any day than a mono copy full of distortion. Absolutely amazing pressing.

This sounds great and a really nicely packaged edition for the 50th anniversary.

Must-have for audiophile listeners. Powerful and rich sound. Great dynamic, combined with an impressive stereo image. Clean + quiet surface - very good pressing. High quality release. Recommended!!! But please note: this release is unusual. It combines a remix with a superb remastering. The result is great, but the sound differs partly from earlier releases.
