Idk Man, this is one of the best sounding records I’ve ever heard.
I feel this is MUCH more of an upgrade in sound compared to the Abbey road or Let it be Remix, probably because this is a half speed.
I think it compares to the amazing sound that can be found in the McCartney Half Speed Releases of RAM, wings wild life, McCartney 1 all breath taking like this

The studio tracks are absolutely beautiful.
Don’t pass this up before it gets too expensive, hopefully it gets repressed.

I’m in the “This sounds mind-blowing fantastic” boat. I have a couple other AAA stereo pressings of this album, and a couple of AAA mono pressings. This 2LP anniversary edition makes for my favorite listening of the bunch. There’s a single LP version pressed at MPO—(this edition is pressed in Germany if I’m not mistaken)—which sounds exceptional too. If you can get your hands on this edition, you’ll get the song sketches/sessions of the entire album on a second LP plus some top-quality packaging and reproduction sleeves and inserts. Good hunting :)

I say no! This record sounds nice, but it doesn't rock like the old original releases, whether it's from the UK, Germany or wherever. Every song is tonally the same now, it's a bit audiophile at times, but I repeat myself, it doesn't rock anymore, it's not dirty anymore. And I think that's a shame. Of course, it's good that you can hear a few more details here and there. And everyone has to decide for themselves what they want to hear. It's the swallowed up details that make the old editions rock.

Snatched a used copy for $25 at a store, never stop crate-digging because you'll never know what you may find! As for the quality of the pressing, it's outstanding and the sessions are definitely the highlight of this release.

A great alternative that rivals the mono mix, sounds fantastic. It's basically the mono mix remastered and remixed into trippy stereo! Who cares if "it wasn't how the beatles originally intended" for people to listen to? It fuckin' rocks and that's all that matters.

I bought this copy for my 60th birthday. A Peerless release.

I've held off on this release because I'm so tired of all the reissue gimmicks but I'm telling you this remix is brilliant. I have the 2014 mono which I held in high regard but it pales in comparison to this. The mix stays true to form and doesn't stray too much from the original but where you really hear the changes are in the bass frequencies. I don't think I've ever actually heard Ringo's kick drum in the past, it thumps hard on this, and to hear him and Paul in the pocket is just sonic bliss, they lock up so tight. It really is my favorite version of the album. Pressing is great too, very little surface noise.

Absolutely perfect record, I got a dead quiete pressing not having any clicks or pops. For a beatles album it sounds wonderful, nearly like fresh recorded! Happy to own it.

Wow, this stereo remix pressing is impressive. One of the very best sounding records I've listened to. The bonus tracks are very interesting and listenable as well, with linear notes regarding how the the songs were formed in the studio. Highly recommended!
