Something for the Trash can. Sadly for the Vinyl Material, had to get used for better records. However, nonsens Release for hardcore mills addicts.

For better or worse, this is Jeff Mills' being very uncompromising - through which he's not giving a hoot about what can or can not be pressed on vinyl, so if anything, it's a record with integrity. For the live audience this must have been a great experience, but what with the sound quality, it has no impact at home or even played out. It's probably something only the die-hard collectors will appreciate.

love the shit-fi quality, the crowd screams, and classic mills style murderation.

Listened to this when it came out. Is this a mix or a 12" for you to then mix on with, mixing his pre-mixed mixing into your own mixes to create a whole new plane of meta-mixing consciousness? Is this both: a sonic thought experiment to challenge our perceptions and expectations of the tired old mix CD the 12" formats? Gave up on the philosophy lesson: it's a load of pointless pish. Didn't buy it then and not surprised it's on sale for 79p. Really, what was he thinking? If nothing replaces being there then why get this pressed up and charge seven quid for fuck's sake? Too many questions.

The sound quality is total ass. Also, on the back of this recording of a live performance, there is a quip that says "nothing can replace the feeling of being there live." There's a word for that, but, ironically, I can't think of it right now.

The sound quality is just disgusting...But the spirit is there...
