- For me it's all about the Berlin Mix. Versatile hypnotic, synthy house which can be played across most deeper and mellower dancefloor genres. That familiar gated synth/vox sound was famously sampled on Urban Hype's Teknologi. The Amsterdam Mix is also nicely stripped down for a deep house set.
- As sampled and used to great effect by Gus Gus on their track 'Purple'...they used the 'Ooooooooh Ohhhhhhhh aaaaahhhhhh' bit. Top tune. Love Marina Van Rooy's sultry voice.
- bleepy cult rave tune you can file next to other dreamy quirky vocals like ultra violet kites . a hooky counting song reels you in . still a tune .
- Edited 9 years agoA pure 1990 sugary-synth-pop-meets-bleepy-rave delight, like a more playful and "girly" (but still rocking) counterpart to Annette's mighty "Dream 17". I own three different 12-inches versions of this, including about seven different mixes, and this is one of the very rare cases where ALL the mixes are relevant. Irresistibly trippy, sparkling, elevating and cheeky dance music of the highest order.
And the original picture sleeve is great too.
