Recommendations
Reviews
- Really pleased with the quality of this recording. Almost no extra noise. The live recording on the second record is excellent, as well.
- Edited 3 years agoThis double LP is excellent. The studio recording record is perfect with no surface noise and tons of "oomph". The live record also sounds excellent with rare instances of surface noise.
- Edited 4 years agoHappy with this cut. Not extraordinary but leagues better than many other "remasters" coming out continuously of late. Pressing is very quiet and with very good dynamics & detail. It beats my digital copy and that's all you can hope for. No pops or skips as noted by the previous reviewer - mine sounds great in that regard. Only issue is the 1st (main) disc is mislabeled on my copy and has the center label for the 2nd disc (again). Oh well.
- I was surprised and happy to find out this also had the live sets, I ordered it without noticing it and the live lp is fun to listen to. Will say mine had an awful popping sound on side 1B with the track ‘Orion’ that is very loud and honestly makes me get up and skip it (which sucks because its one of my favorite tracks on the album, does anyone elses have this?) but it could just be a one off issue, overall the album sounds pretty good.
