Reviews
If Blue Note ask you to compile an album that's gotta be an honour... Step forward Joe Davis, the 'Go To' guy for the London Jazz scene's Brasillian music selections for the last thirty years or so. A brilliant and diverse compilation this is full of EMI's Brasillian arm Odeon's finest moments... From the sublime Big Band Bossa of Luiz Arruda Paez take on Edu Lobo's 'Upa Neguinho' to Lo Borges' MPB classic 'Tudo Que Voce Podia Ser', taking in trio bossa and the beautifully emotive Joyce... Well worth securing a copy if you are curious about Brasil's musical prime of the 60's & 70's...
