What seems to be in theory an excellent idea, updating Hüber & Schwab's excellent scores for three Jess Franco movies, fails in some extend when you listen to this album. Only 2 of the 13 tracks are adding something to the originals.

Witchman's mix of People's Playground (in this case 'Version A') is excellent. Best track of the whole. Adding a dub background blends wonderful with the rhythm of the original and the voice of Soledad ,which repeats saying 'Linda', gives it a gloomy (as in great) touch.

The other one is Alec Empire's mix of 'The Six Wisdoms Of Aspasia'. It sounds like an outtake from his 'Hypermodern Jazz' album. Downtempo with a hint of glitch which and that voice sample (You know what I mean...) gives the track some sort of ironic feel, but that was maybe what Mr. Empire had in mind.
