- Edited 8 months agoGreat compilation indeed (as many have stated), but Analog Africa REALLY needs to improve their QC: had to order 6 times (!!) until I got a copy that is not extremely warped (both LPs still are warped, but nothing dramatic)...
WoW! The beat, the sound, the bass tracks. Wonderful compilation.

Indeed, the track "M'Ongele M'am" by Eko Roosevelt is under exclusive licence from Nubiphone record label (https://www.discogs.com/fr/label/1221011-Nubiphone), and the track was used in "Pop Makossa" without the authorization of Nubiphone, and Analog Africa never contacted Nubiphone about it although they know that this track was officially compiled before the same year under exclusive licence.- What is up with the cover art on this one? Makes me think I'm buying a 1960's Japanese movie, not a great compilation of music from Cameroon
This is such a great compilation. Quality of pressing is 5/5. Hard to find compilations where all songs are actually great, but this one is! On par with the Space Echo release which is also a really great compilation.
The concept of the compilation is magnificent. One of the best compilations of this kind so far. I'm tryin' hard to find something that i don't like. Wider than wide list of styles, more or less electrified, disco or funk oriented. Any listener, dancer or DJ will be satisfied and happy here.
