Notes
Unlimited second edition with slightly different artwork. The initial edition was limited to 1000 numbered copies.
Tracks 1-15, 18 are the original LP version Gold Is The Metal (With The Broadest Shoulders), from 1987
Tracks 16-17 are not on the original LP version (track 17 is b-side of The Wheel / The Wheal)
Back of booklet:
"this release is not the follow-up to ‘Horse rotorvator’. it is not ‘The dark age of love’, but a completely separate package – a stopgap and a breathing space– the space between two twins. Presented here are thoroughbreds that escaped the horse rotorvator – discarded shards, distortions, disappointments, scrambled and disassembled stages. Remnants of what once was. This record is a chance for us to release some otherwise placeless pieces of music"
Tracks 3, 4 and15 recorded live at Bar Maldoror; others at various other times and locations.
