- It’s pretty incredible how these “outtakes” from LSD are almost better than that album. It’s more like a full continuation from LSD, a necessary and attached companion album that offers both deeper, darker texts and audio footnotes as well as a few Rosetta stones that actually help decode the original LSD album. I don’t think I could’ve ever truly understood the LSD album without having heard this one, too. On an unnameable, unspeakable, indescribable level. LSD was already an ocean unto itself. SACS is like a map to the deepest trenches, and a delineation of the LSD fractal coastlines.
- Edited 2 years agoI have this copy but without the numbered card. the CD has bronzed but plays just fine
- Edited 2 years agoMost of these entries state that "Furthur" is a misspelling as the piece is a different miss of Further Back and Faster from the Love's Secret Domain album. I always assumed it was a reference to the original logo on Ken Kesey's bus (itself later corrected) given Coil's interest in acid at the time.
- Edited 4 years agoThe Cold Spring LP sounds like it was pressed from a CD. Compared to my original Threshold House CD, it is noticeably inferior.
- A Fucking Mazing - listen to everything these have ever done, especially Horse Rotavator, Loves Secret Domain, Astral Disaster, Music to play in the dark1-2, The Ape of Naples, i could go on, just listen to all of it, now. Its hard to find all but you can download easy enough nowadays
- How much a person (listener) may love a work like this ? To be honest, i don't know. All i can say is that this work talk about human condition, pheraps............ See you, dear friends, in a better world. Pheraps, if we met, we'll talk about something. R.I.P. -|- p.
