Reviews
- The world learned Sinéad o' Connor in 1990. They scored a number one with the song "Nothing Compares 2 U. Success was partly due to the striking video clip with a close-up of the face of Sinéad (shaved head, big eyes) that sings the song while she cries. That suits her music in which they often her soul inside out. O'Connor shuns the big themes and shocking an American public when she tears apart a picture of the Pope on live tv. Musical surprised them with a reggae album and a cd of traditional Irish music. It underlines the versatility of this quirky singer/songwriter.
