Why do 58 people want this record? It's because of "Happiness is Just Around the Bend," one of the earliest disco songs, and still one of the best.

I am one of the goofiest people you will ever meet. What do I mean? Well, I will let the simplest thing in the world make me very excited. Case in point: I found this album today, and I almost jumped through the roof!!! I've been looking for this ever since I was 15, I first heard it when I was 3, and it was always one of my favorite albums. "The Main Ingredient" was one of those groups that always got credit for just one song (Everybody Plays The Fool), but never for their body of work. Now, I found the L.T.D. album too(Da Bomb!!!), but I have to say that this one is my favorite one by them. Even though they foregone the songwriting skills after Donald McPherson's untimely death, but they did inherit the voice of Cuba Gooding Sr. That was a very good thing. My favorite song on this bad boy is "Happiness Is Just Around The Bend", not only was it one of their longest songs (I LOVE long songs), it was their most creative (the other one was "Black Seeds Keep On Growing"). The only suspect thing on here is maybe "Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing", only because of the "Stevie Wonder Rule", but even that one sounds pretty good. The album ends on a terrific note with their other big hit "Just Don't Want To Be Lonely", which proves to be a perfect album closer. Well...as you can tell, I really love this album. To me, it's just one of those simple pleasures in life....
