I was 16-17 years old when this album came out, and for me it perfectly encapsulates that feeling of youthful innocence and self discovery (great music, friendship, young love, Mario Kart 64, cannabis, hallucinogens, Carl Johnson the cat, the entire Hempstead crew!).
YMMV, of course, but I still think that this is an objectively beautiful album that stands on its own merits. Dare I say that this release may be a good starting point for aspiring new fans? Odd Nosdam is always on point. You can take that to heart. 71 for life!!
