The guitar sound is nicely crispy. However, somehow it feels not muddy enough or on the contrary, not violently charged enough - a more extreme guitar sound to one direction or the other could be better. Now it's somehow a bit too "reasonable", hard to explain. But still all right. No chaos riffing but memorable, clear riffs. Influences from for example Blasphemy and Beherit can be heard, of course. The reverb-drenched guitar solos don't bring anything interesting to the table and are used a bit too much, but they're also ok. Everything's all right but still, as a whole, it doesn't strike quite enough. Nice try though, not bad but not that good either. For most hardcore fans of this subgenre, totally worth checking out. 3/5
