Are the original 1985 LP versions of The Usurper and Jewel Throne replaced with the 1986 versions off of the Tragic Serenades EP on this pressing? The linear notes seem to hint at this.

I'm looking for a replacement cover & sleeves for this pressing if anyone happens to have spare ones, please send me a message.

I have read all comments and I must say that my copy is free from all issues described by other users, and also has the two posters. Maybe there are certain defective batches, but not all, that is clear and I have my perfect copy as a proof.
Mine was bought in 2018, early press run I guess.

Like many remastered albums, this expanded remaster by Santura and Warrior appears to suffer from the ongoing loudness war. The drums suffer the most in the mix. In side by side comparison, the original Noise LP has a much more flat, even, well-balanced sound, while on the reissue there appears to be an attempt to brighten the drums, and increase the overall volume, needlessly so, which makes the record sound trebly and horrible. The recording crackles in some places, particularly at the beginning side of each LP. "Circle Of The Tyrants" and "Visual Aggression" are both unlistenable on this version. The booklet and posters are excellent, and incidentally I love the way it smells when I opened it.

Came dirty and warped, and includes only 1 poster as opposed to the promised 2. Spending £40 on a single album and receiving this is quite dissapointing. Although the £40 HMV charged me seems brilliant when looking at what they're going for on here, but alas I could not sell this warped thing for £70.

As for sound quality. This pressing is fantastic. There are differences between this and the original, however, if this copy is all you can find, I highly recommend it as you are getting an absolutely solid remaster. Though, it seems missing a poster is a common occurance as I haven't gotten two and the product page here only shows one. Either it never came with two and it was a mistake, or it's a coincidence that so many are missing second posters.

A jam packed re-issue with extras, photos etc and most importantly the layout etc is as the original except the logo position on the artwork. I like the sound, it's heavier but more clarity than the original to my ears.
However I've had three from an online retailer all with one poster missing! Also the discs have been warped in all three.
Come on Noise get it together with the quality control!

The original has a much better balanced sound while this reissue sounds kinda shrill and has a thin midrange at moments; too modern I'd say. Regarding the art, is clear when you watch it that is a reissue: kinda blurred compared against the original noise. It's worth it for the extras and books given is not so expensive, at least for now...

Any opinions on how this reissue compares to the original pressings sound wise? I kinda wish they just reissued the full length on double LP at 45rpm sans the bonus tracks.
