superb group with a great vocal from Karen Copeland. It would have been interesting to hear what she would have done with her career but it wasn't to be....Surface are a great group and are one of the "sounds of the late 80s"....i think the soul and funk made between 1985 -90 is gona be looked at again....a classic

Beautiful song on all levels...The slick production, the vocals, the mix, and that bassline! Great flute solo as well. There are various re-edits out there, but just stick to this original Shep Mix in it's entirety.

btw--Daft Punk sampled the Tom Moulton re-edit of this for "Face to face". They lifted the isolated drum intro...that drum part is not anywhere on the original 12".

One of my most treasured pieces of Wax from the 80s! The quality in production is as slick as a BP oil spill and the intermittent flute sound will have you " Spinning around "!
