Recommendations
Reviews
- Great album, super quiet, no pops. Good recording but levels are a bit flat. However I think in this case it adds to the mood of the LP.
- While it doesn’t have everything, this is a pretty good collection of hits handpicked by Smith. You have to admire the sounds he produced with the crude instruments he had at the time. The recording and mix are also fantastic. My pressing sounds great. Highly recommended!
- GZ media has really improved. Overtaking Optima and MPO. They used to be the worst pressing plant in the world. This record despite not washed sounds decent. It’s not fantastic but the sonics are decent.
I enjoyed the listening experience. Good album. - Sounds really great, clean, vinyl is flat, not distorted and i think it's sourced from analog tapes, even Tracks from Side 4 sounds Open and great!!! Maybe too bassy but i love that punchy bass
- I was tracking down this one for several months in order to get it on a reasonable price and finally did it!! What a fantastic,, clear and loud album this is! I'm so glad I added it to my collection. The mastering is superb!!! Highly recommended!
- truly a no skip!!! almost didn't buy it yesterday which i am now GRATEFUL i did because LORDDD there is no band like the cure. can't go a day without playing it. the music feels so real and true in my bedroom. truly a timeless record. the cure never gets old
- Maybe i have a repress or not but all i can say that my copy sounds very nice . Nice balance , no pops no clicks . Flat vinyl , very happy with my copy .
- Edited 3 years agoTotal trash. All the high end has been remastered right out of every single Cure release, including streaming formats. Don’t waste the $40+. I’d sooner pay $200 for an original.
