- I contacted the publisher about replacing the OBI, but in the end they stopped answering me..
Cover quality is poor. On the limited edition, they did not stint on printing with selective varnish (inscription in silver), but the quality of the cover was not optimized. I had to make it myself and print it at a local print shop.

My optimization cover - https://i.ibb.co/xDrTBLb/gits.jpg - Edited 3 years agoFor those who also have the misprinted OBI strip.
I sent an email to WRWTFWW and they've answered me back about 1 week after saying:
Hey Francisco,
Thanks for the kind words, truly appreciated!
A replacement OBI will get to you soon :)
All the best, - I also have the original Japanese CD and I agree 100% with user MatteoL, the image on the front cover is a bad print with very inaccurate colors! The simple release has better quality but still again way lower than the CD. Also the back cover is extremely disappointing with the lack of CD's artwork and wrong info about Kawai playing all the instruments...
- Just to piggy back on what everyone else is saying, this really is an outstanding pressing. I bought this on a lark because I found a copy on here for $27. I'm so glad I snagged it. It sounds really awesome, and the pressing is very, very quiet (a must for this type of minimal yet brooding music). Grab this if you're a fan, or just grab it if you're into high quality and good sounding pressings.
RIYL: Audiophile pressings, ambient music, soundtracks - Do the fine people of WRWTFWW plan on rectifying the misprinted obi strip debacle? This is the most expensive retail price I've seen for a 2xLP and surely customers deserve the finished article when paying such a high price.
- A very cool release! Nice jacket, nice 24 page booklet. And it sounds very good too!
Ordered at Amazon DE for 33 euro's. Other websites are ridiculously expensive with prices of over 40 pounds. Look around a bit and you can find it cheaper.
I'm also curious as to how many of these were pressed. It's still for sale everywhere so my guess it's 2000 at least. - extremely happy with this release. the bonuses are worth the £40 in my opinion, especially with the free poster included. audio quality is flawless on my records and the booklet included informative about the work that went behind the first gits movie. expanded my appreciation for it.
