such a great record, the oryginal pressing is still relatively cheap and it sounds magnificent! ... wayne shorter with some great solos on soprano and tenor as well as gary bartz on alto... alice coltrane fits perfectly with her harp in 3 out 4 tracks and mccoy tyner is going new places with his compositions (to be continued on milestone later on). perfect drumming by elvin jones; there is even some flute and bells play here (the later on carters solo haha!) ...such a variety of sounds! this might be tyner's very own version of love supreme. way ahead of its time... if it was released now it would probably become a jazz album of the year, for some... any year.
