- Edited 7 years agoQuality yet again on Astrophonica from Fracture. All four tracks are so, so good.....Cold and Rain is a really nice 160bpm footwork/jungle stepper with really nice amen snares put together in a way that's familiar yet different. Love the vocals. They almost sound pitched up but I don't think they are. Your Time is my current favourite I think, pushing the bpm over 170. On My Mind was the pre-release track which is another banger and the EP is rounded out by So High with Alix Perez - a track that takes those pitched up chipmunk vocals to new levels. Charlie is one of a few producers at the moment that are producing really unique stuff. In fact Om Unit's Cosmic Bridge, Fracture's Astrophonica, DJ Madd's Roots & Future are three labels that are so forward thinking it's incredible. One of the best releases of 2017 so far........essential vinyl.....
