Sealed polybag features a tear-off top and hype sticker on the front which reads "The preferred edition of NOT THE ACTUAL EVENTS. It has been pressed on a single sided 180 gram vinyl. Made to be played loud."
Originally meant for release in December 2016, which is also the date printed on the hype sticker.
Printed inner sleeve with lyrics is included however the vinyl is in a separate plain white poly lined sleeve from the factory.
Each jacket appears to differ slightly from the next due to various smudges, fingerprints etc.
Side B features 3 additional, unlisted tracks from The Downward Spiral in reverse: Hurt, The Downward Spiral & Reptile.
Includes a download card for the full fidelity audio files.

- My copy has pubes in the inner sleeve. I sent these off for analysis by an independent lab and they confirmed what I already suspected; They are Trents.

Good album, a underrated new era NIN album, cover is very interesting, but also annoying if you want to listen to it, it must have a deeper meaning like many other thing by Trent Reznor.
All copies of this, when new, had wet ink in the bag that was smudgable. The "powder" is likely just liquid ink drying out, I'm sure they're all dried out by now. Three copies deep and my newest one was dried, first two required handwashing after removing from the bag.
My lyric sheet is pink and signed by Trent Reznor and under it it says 2 of 3.
Great sounding pressing, but just picked up a copy in normal normal shrink wrap because I thought it was cool and Im not a fan of the bags because you can’t really save them. Anyways, sounds great but the code expired over 2 years ago! WTH. It’s not OOP and they are selling expired codes
I picked up a copy of this at target yesterday in normal shrinkwrap and no powder to smuge. is this a new reissue? i can't find it listed anywhere.
hype sticker should also say that side b is recommended listening in the red room.
I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere. The two lyric sheets are mirror images of each other. The red one's glossy text is the same as the blue ones regular text, and on the blue's glossy text being the same as the red one's regular text. If you have both it's really cool to compare them side by side.
This is one of the greatest LP's in my collection. The presentation is superb!
