One of the best EP’s ever made! This was a very definitive moment in music history! This LP comes with so many bonuses and it sounds incredible!

Definitive edition is right! Everything about this package and record/s is excellent- from the separately packaged picture sleeves and poly-lined ones holding the records, to the thick booklet, and the phenomenal sounding (crazy amount of layers, no surface noise, detail really shines when you turn it up!) Pallas-pressed EP and single! One of my favorite NIN releases of all time and this pressing really does it justice- I’ve seen em go for $20 at a lot of places and it’s more than worth it for that price point!

Has there ever been any sign of Fixed getting a definitive vinyl release? Or is it too obscure to get enough recognition? I just think it would look really nice to have the blue counterpart to this orange cover.

Nice packaging. One thing that makes no sense to me is why this was pressed on a single side at 33 1/3 rpm. With the length of these tracks, they could have put 3 per side and pressed it at 45 rpm, for higher quality audio...volume and fidelity wise.

Got this today. It sounds just as good as the other definitive NIN editions in my collection. Mine even came with a duplicate copy of the Physical/Suck single, which was pretty cool.

I bought the 'Broken' EP on CD when it came out back in the day and it's always been my personal favorite NIN release and therefore the one I listened to the most. However, I ordered this package with some trepidation after reading the reviews below of all the problematic pressings. I feel for you guys...we've all had it happen and it is indeed disappointing.

Having just received this package today and having listened to it in it's entirety, I'm happy to report that my experience was as advertised on the hype sticker: "meticulously prepared by Trent Reznor and NIN art director John Crawford". The exclusion of the two hidden tracks as a 7" 45 rpm is just perfect and they sound great as well; mimics the extra effort that was required to skip ahead to tracks 98 & 99 on the CD :D Nice touch with the "Glass Everywhere" booklet. It really is the definitive release.

I'll add that I agree with everything previous reviewer tawilk34 said; where I differ in opinion is that Broken was intended to be cold and industrial and that Trent was in full-on digital mode, so I was not expecting the warmth of 70s analogue. This is Broken exactly as I remember it!

I wanted to leave a positive review for those NIN fans on the fence. All I can say is to purchase from a reputable distributor with a solid return policy...should you run into a bad pressing.

clear, flat, quite pressing. decent mix overall, I feel it lacks a little depth but it has the aggressiveness and grittiness of Broken. great quality overall.

Well my sleeve is fine, but the record sounds like crap. Tons of static all the way through. I thought maybe Trent did that on purpose for the first bit, but its through the whole record.Very audible in the silence, almost audible during the songs. Too bad, i was excited about this.

All this talk about pressing quality and glue. It's Broken. What did anyone expect ;)
