Notes
O Babylon is a musical that was originally performed by Derek Walcott's Theatre workshop in Trinidad in 1976, and at the Jamaican Carrifest the following summer. The music presented here is fifteen songs performed by New York singers and musicians.
The Story Takes place in Jamaica and concerns itself with the Rastafarian predicament of living and projecting a spirit centered life in a world that measures the worth of all things and actions by their convertability into coin, namely Babylon.
