Re: the fan below who prefers his/her original pressing over this reissue. Discogs says both the UK and the European 1992 issues were cut at George Peckham’s suite by Denis Blackham i.e. none other “BilBo”, who’s cut countless records e.g. the 1980, 1981 reissues of Hunky Dory. No wonder the OG sounds better to xmarilfulx.

I've finally picked up the reissue and compared it to my original.

Sound: The original IMO is better - its clearer and brighter and sounds more lively. However, the reissue is also excellent. To me it sounds like it was slightly remastered or taken from a different source. The reissue has more bass and does open up the louder you crank it. No pops or clicks on my copy. Worth picking up!

Packaging: The cover and packaging is much nicer on the reissue. The vinyl itself is heavy. One caveat - there is text over both sides of the inner sleeve, covering up the close up shot of broken dolls. In the original press there is only text on one side of the sleeve.

Having a strange issue with my copy. Record does not seem warped but my needle is having an extremely difficult time tracking. Tone arm is properly weighted and I cleaned the album multiple times so those are ruled out. I drop the needle on side one and the needle shakes back and forth like an earth quake is approaching, and skips around quite a bit. Anyone else have this issue? Threw on another album to make sure it wasnt my set up and that one played/sounded great. Really hoping I just got a bad copy and this isnt a defect across the pressing.

How's the sound quality on this reissue? The originals prices are going up steadly...
