Show All 11 Reviews- These three blind mice reissues are next level. They're one step level sound. Some of the most realistic instruments I've ever heard. They're like sitting front row at a jazz club. Kevin Gray smashed the pants off these! Buy now or cry later when they're HUNDREDS
- If my copy (purchased new in Jan 2022) is representative, whatever problems RTI was having with pressing this in mid-2021 has been resolved. I run a shibata stylus that is extremely unforgiving of surface noise, and my copy sounds superb.
- Edited one year agoMan I get so unbelievably frustrated listening to this garbage pressing... Too bad they don't reside in Germany - if they did I'd file a complaint for consumer protection agency regulation. Labels like this should not be allowed to operate and sell defective items to people paying the full price.
- Edited one year agoGave this record a spin again this morning. Perfect for getting angry and setting yourself a bad and annoyed start to the day with crackles, non-filler issues and other inacceptable issues like factory-induced scratches that one paid 75€ for. What an impudence to sell records like this. I wrote to Impex about the issue and never received an answer.
- My copy sounds great. No surface noise and the mix is really well done. I’ve never had a problem with Impex. Every record I’ve purchased by them has come completely fine.
- music is not great, bought on a whim, sounds elevator musicish
vinyl a bit noisy
mix is really piano heavy and with close mics - Don't buy this, or any other Impex record from my very own experience, if the store you're purchasing from doesn't have a liberal return policy. I received 4 records, 4 different albums, from this label and none of them is in acceptable condition. Big, partly HUGE, scratches out of the factory may cross out your favorite track from the very start, non-fillers and super super high surface noise are also very common. What a shame to call this "SUPER CUT ANALOGUE DISK", I much rather say this is "SUPER MASTERS PRESSED BY SUB-PAR PRESSING PLANTS WITH TERRIBLE QC".
I'd just like to sit down and listen to the music, relax and enjoy, instead what I get is anger over the pressing and why there's so much noises in my music that shouldn't be in there. - Unfortunately, my copy came with deep scratches from the factory. Other than that, the sound quality is other-worldly.
- Wonderful music and a stellar reissue. Agreed, the piano and bass sound phenomenal. Good job, Impex!
