Notes
2017 Vinyl Reissue.
Includes CD with extra track "Iron Paradise".
Vinyl Packaging lists "Music By" as Midori Takada (Tracks 1, 3 to 11) and Masahiko Satoh (Tracks 2, 8). This is a misprint (possibly taken from the original 1990 CD release) because there are not 11 tracks on this version. The LP has 9 tracks and the Bonus CD has 10. It is unclear which tracks are being referred to which artist.

Reviews
- Edited 2 years agoUnfotunately loads of surface noise and non-fill sections. For this kind of quiet music, labels really should choose a quality pressing plant. What a waste.
- The mastering sounds great, so it is a big disappointment I can't get ahold of a clean-sounding copy. I had the same issue with WRWTFWW's 2xLP of "Through the Looking Glass" (however in that case I eventually was blessed with a good copy).
I've replaced this record 4 or 5 times. Each copy has non-fill, so there are a lot of very apparent rips in the very spacial, ambient music. Most were off-center, with loud whooshing sounds at each rotation (especially side B).
Other commenters claim their copies sound good, so be aware that there is a lot of mess out there and make sure you buy this or other records from this label from somewhere with a good return policy, because their pressing plant isn't doing a good job with them. - I am very happy with how it sounds, makes my Ortofon 2M Blue come alive and pull out quite credible soundstage; I would love to hear it on a better set of equipment! I can't hear any surface noise at all, very clean copy. Appreciate it came in HDPE polylined paper inner sleeve.
Speaking of music, it's purely cosmic-feeling night time scape of music with a lot to transcend in successive listening sessions. - Edited 5 years agoVinyl is a good. Quiet and almost no surface noise. Only thing about it is original cd release has 11 tracks with different order. Why is it different on this reissue? I mean even with bonus track there are only 10 tracks. It is rather disappointing. I should have gotten the original cd release instead. Anyway, musically speaking it is a great album.
