Reviews
Not as good as his debut album and the opener track is a straight rip off of a Steely Dan tune(listen to it you'll know what I mean). The last composition is the epic one on this release and that to me has what in essence I admire about Mr. Mays his gift of color, timbre and melody. Newborn/Streetdreams draws a little influence on African/Eastern music along with jazz and soundscape like touches. Truly worth owning for the last track most people are not aware of. If you like the late 70s era ECM stuff you know Rypdal etc check that last track out.
