Notes

Released in a 6-panel digipack with a clear tray, and including a round pink sticker on the front stating: "THE NEW DANCE ALBUM / INCLUDING FIVE NEW SONGS / plus remixes by / Felix da Housecat, / Superchumbo and / Pet Shop Boys". No booklet included, credits are printed on the inside of the sleeve.
No durations appear on the release.

The first batch was withdrawn as it had an incorrect barcode and a glitch at 2:16 on 'Time On My Hands'.
From petshopboys.co.uk, Feb 2003: "It has become apparent that there is a problem with the barcode on some copies of Disco 3, resulting in some sales not being reported. EMI are investigating this at the moment."

The original triple 12" edition of this isn't much good for home listening - back-to-back mixes of the same tracks, and a lot of side changes. I'd love to see a single-LP edition of the regular 10-track version someday.

"Disco 3" was probably released to compensate the bad sales/reviews of their album "Release". The third chapter of the "Disco" trilogy is unmixed and features new tracks. The best one is probably "Try It (I'm In Love With A Married Man)", an interesting gay approach to a Bobby Orlando track. "Sexy Northener", remixed by Superchumbo, become a dark and mysterious 8 minutes odyssey. "London" on the piano is probably better than the original version, while "If Looks Could Kill" could have been their never released James Bond track.
Not totally good, not totally bad.
