- It's hard to describe this album to someone who is ready for the Kengo Iuchi-ness. But i'll try to describe it with some details, so even you will understand better the matter we're dealing with here. Kengo Iuchi is what can be described as a folk singer who is utterly fucking depressed on the verge of collapsing. The music is a jangling mix of "dark & dingy" compositions on acustic guitar (and other instruments here and there, with some noise that can be used as an ambient soundtrack to everything), while our Man struggle with the cosmic emptiness around him. You can really taste depression and the venomous sting it brings , the mad blind rage our protagonist seems to conjure when he start raving like a maniac with such intensity you even question why nobody is giving him a blanket, some pills with hot tea and a hug. Seriously. The man is raving about something, probably his sanity leaving his body, asking to some deity to save him. Kengo has relased other stuff which is "better" and noisier than this album, but if you gotta start rto get to know with him, start from here. Not for the faint of ears/heart
