Just listened to this at the wrong speed... and couldn't tell the difference. Had to come here to confirm that its at 45 rpm.

My records are in PVC sleeves, is it really that bad ?

Not sure if the record sleeves are PVC but I would swap them out to be safe. I've seen too many posts about PVC adhering/ causing a chemical reaction with the records plus they seem to cause quite a bit of static on the records.

Does anyone's copy have some noticeable distortion in some places, particularly on the latter part of side A and side B?
Mine does, but its hard to work out if it is the mastering/pressing or a quirk of my set up somewhere while playing this lp (as the vinyl looks pretty flawless).
