This one takes the teen death-trip high melodrama of the Shangri-Las and amps it up to monumental proportions. Even Phil Spector and Shadow Morton never dreamt of a production as over-the-top as this one. Hysterical and tempestuous.
A bootleg on the awe-inspiring 'Lauper Death' label. These were plentiful at one time and I saw dozens of them in second hand shops and record fairs back in the '90s. Seems to be harder to find now.
