This dude is incredible. Just a perfect release for me. Everything that is beautiful and infectious about festival riffs you might have heard at Ultra 2011, but passed through Senni's zany sound design and jittery balls-to-the-wall arrangement, and stretched across 8 minutes... with no drums!!! huge huge huge release. and to see everyone in these comments acting all betrayed by Warp and disgusted at what these damn kids are up to makes it so much sweeter.
I would have called this chip tune 20 years ago. Sounds like some festival shit in between setup now, or a DJ tool. Not really sure what happened to Warp records.

Anyone else notice that the songs are on the wrong sides? Even the runout groove etchings are incorrect

I’m a huge fan of Warp Records, having 70-80 releases in my collection I sometimes think about collecting the whole catalogue..... then you here stuff like this!! Bad idea!!
Where he delivers on the promise of tracks like "Elegant and never tiring". The Shape of Trance to Come is a concise mission statement wherein Lorenzo Senni proves he can make an incredibly unstylish (and unpopular in underground circles) cool again. Big one.
